What was used to create this fabric of sounds...

MacBook mid 2010 13 inch, old, worn, dying..but still allowing me to create with limitations-
Garageband...yes..after starting with Cakewalk 9.0 2004..
trying Sonar...failing..using Reason..Adobe cool edit 1.5 for a while...
finally trying Garageband at the free studio at Southglenn Library studio...and then..fortunately..getting a very nice hand me down in about 2017ish..from my mothernlaw..Kay- RIP..we miss you..
I was able to find a fast decent manner of recording my many ideas in the time I had per being a family dude with a little dude and wife to care for..my family. LOVE YOU!
Yes..I was never able to move up to Logic..I really like Garageband..amateur or not..I'm not making albums for the Grammies man.. and no money is being made..it is my art..and you need to be able to make your art happen..unleashing your passion ..with what you have..a bunch or just enough to call it a mission accomplished..do all you can with what little you have...that is how a true artist does it..

Indiana Acoustic guitar Scout my mom gave me..budget guitar that is holding up better than my way old pawnshop bought Alvarez acoustic.
Befor covid hell..we used to visit each year..so our son could see his Grandma woof woof and Papa Dean..Texas..doggies and learn about his dad's old state..fam and etc.
I used to play my mom's budget guitar..each morning and during down downs during our visits. I didn't bring my old beat acoustic since we were limited on space. Her acoustic was smaller..and had a battery ported pick up I never tried..with no way to test it. It sounded decent and played good..mostly in tune. I asked her for it a few times..after trying to find my own in her little Kerrville town of Texas. No luck. She ended up finally giving in and giving it to me on our last trip..I didn't play it much. I decided...that after playing, writing, recording lots of crunchy, meaty, riffn stuff on my electrics for my BTH project..I wanted to focus on trying to get back to the acoustic realms..without tuning issues and mic''n it up issues..I tried running direct ..and found it to be successful...
I was very happy...It worked for recording...and has totally allowed me to continue creating..and playing some decent acoustic driven jams....I hadn't done so much acoustic based recordings...ever...
Glad to have a budget guitar my mom gave me to allow that journey to unfold.

Ibanez EX series guitar..my Frankenstein guitar that I've had since mid 90's..that allowed me to play tons of shows..worn..torn but getting it done for now I suppose.

The Fender Starcaster has fallen apart..neck is junk now and it no longer works for recording or playing sadly...bought it at Arc a year or so ago...It worked for a while..with issues..until it sank into the issues..

I used the Jackson budget 7 string a bit ..that I use as a 6 string..not viable for any leads..just some crunch...hence..my old beat Ibanez was what I played the most for crunch and lead fun...

Yamaha P255 digi piano..that I was gifted by my wife after our son was born about 2014ish...since I was no longer able to go out and play at the piano stores and my digital piano started having key issues...dead keys..

my EMU x 49 midi keyboard that I got ...wow...200?ish...Been a while.
Still working...whew.

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2..which blow my old Presonus firewire I used with my old HP and Compaq tower pc.

or I run bass and or electric direct. I run acoustic direct always since it has been working decently...

Works great for mic'n up my little 12inch Fender.

I mostly..do headphone mixes...Bad..but My mixes are ok..
for home recording quickies...and I don't have monitors..
I run through my home stereo Sony receiver Sony bookshelves x4 and my subs x 2....but I usually go with my headphone choice for a good mix for the fast writing and recording mixing adventures I have per song..
